Re: Purchase of # 1963 McAllister Street; No.2 (Condominium); North Panhandle (November 2007) I would definitely recommend Mark as an Agent. Mark is a genuine and nice guy, and very easy to work with. he's not pushy, and that style worked for us. As we were searching, Mark was very flexible and accomodating. It worked best for us to tell him what we were looking for, and then he searched around for places that fit our needs, and then he setup the schedule for that day.
But to me, Mark was invaluable once we decided on a place and made an offer. It was our first time buying a place, and so he took time to answer various questions I had. He went above the call of duty on numerous cases to make sure things were done. If I had a problem, he worked quickly to get the issue solved. I couldn't have asked for anything more. After the purchase of our place, I had an issue regarding HOA dues. I called him late morning. Within an hour, he had called me back saying the issue was solved....anyway, just a sample of his diligent work and quick follow-up.
Through it all, Mark and I have become good friends. Good luck in your search for an agent - Mark comes with a strong recommendation between both my wife and I.

As first time home buyers, with limited funds, and both of us disabled, ours was not an easy task to find a home. We had worked with another realtor and met with a number of problems that could not be worked out into a purchase. We realized then that we really needed someone who understood the particulars of our circumstances and our limitations both physical and financial.
At our first meeting Mark said "There are no guarantees, but I will try to find you a home in 90 days." After more than 12 months of fruitless effort we were astounded but Mark was true to his word. In a matter of weeks Mark had found us the perfect house in exactly the neighborhood we said we wanted to live in. He negotiated a fair purchase price and was with us every step of the way through some rocky times having to do with a million details involved in the purchase of homes for the disabled.
Mark is one of the nicest, kindest, most courteous people it has ever been our privilege to know. And even though we have closed on the house, he remains in contact through our renovation to make the house accessible. And he continues to be a superlative means of support. We had been short on miracles during the last decade in dealing with significant illness, but we felt from that first meeting with Mark that we had turned a corner and good things would come our way. And they have. We have our own home. And without Mark Peschel we don't think it would have been possible in today's market for this miracle to have occurred.

I have worked with Mark Peschel twice, once as a Buyer and once as a Seller. I would give Mark a great recommendation based on my experiences with him. As a Buyer's agent I felt that Mark was attentive to my needs, desires and price range. Once we established the type of residence I was searching for, that is what Mark brought me. As the Seller's Agent Mark had the challenge of selling my vacant lot rather than a home. While other lots in San Francisco have been sitting on the market for months if not over a year, Mark moved my lot in under three.
I was happy with Mark's work and would gladly call upon him again when I reenter the market.

Mark was a very professional and courteous realtor to work with. I was a first time home buyer in California and had so many questions about this intimidating real estate market. Mark was very patient and he took the time to guide me and provided straightforward answers to all of my questions. He always worked to ensure that I was comfortable with every step of the home buying process and I valued his advice greatly. I had no doubt that he didn't want to just sell me on a property but that he wanted me to find the perfect property that suited me. It was a long journey, but in the end I really did find the perfect property and I don't think I could have done it without Mark! He was also extremely proactive during every step of the closing process, which removed a great deal of stress out of closing escrow.
